These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through the online store at www.lejaan.com. Effective from 28 September 2026.
I. Seller and scope
- The seller is:

(the “Seller”). - These Terms and Conditions (the “T&C”) govern the rights and obligations of the Seller and the buyer (the “Customer”) arising from a purchase contract concluded through the online store at www.lejaan.com (the “Online Store”) (the “Contract”).
- A “Consumer” is a Customer who is a natural person acting outside the scope of their trade, business or profession. Provisions of these T&C that apply only to Consumers are marked as such. A Customer who is not a Consumer (a business customer) does not have the rights reserved to Consumers, in particular the right to withdraw under Article VIII.
- The Seller is supervised by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, coi.gov.cz) in matters of consumer protection, by the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) in matters of personal data, and by the Trade Licensing Office of Prague 2 in matters of trade licensing.
- The Seller does not subscribe to any code of conduct within the meaning of Section 1826(1)(e) of the Civil Code.
- The Contract and these T&C are concluded in English. Provisions that deviate from these T&C may be agreed in the Contract; such provisions take precedence.
II. Goods, prices and delivery charges
- The Online Store presents the goods offered by the Seller (the “Goods”), including a description of their main characteristics. Gift cards issued by the Seller are also Goods. The presentation of Goods in the Online Store is not a binding offer by the Seller; Section 1732(2) of the Civil Code does not apply.
- All prices are stated in euro and include value added tax (VAT) and all other taxes and charges. The price does not include the delivery charge, which is stated separately.
- Delivery is free for orders with a total price of the Goods of €300 or more. For other orders, the delivery charge is shown at checkout and on the FAQ page. The final total, including the delivery charge, is always displayed in the order summary before the Customer submits the order.
- The Seller delivers only to the countries that can be selected at checkout. Because delivery takes place within the European Union, no customs duties or import charges apply.
- The cost of using means of distance communication (internet, telephone) to conclude the Contract is borne by the Customer and does not differ from the basic rate.
- Sample Kit. The Seller offers a kit of material samples (the “Sample Kit”), which is Goods under these T&C. After buying a Sample Kit, the Customer receives by email a discount code worth the price paid for the Sample Kit, which can be applied to one subsequent Order within 30 days of receiving the Sample Kit. The code cannot be combined with other discounts or discount codes and cannot be exchanged for cash. If the Consumer withdraws from the purchase of the Sample Kit, the code is deactivated; if the code has already been used, the price of the Sample Kit is deemed to have been refunded.
III. Ordering and conclusion of the Contract
- To place an order, the Customer adds the chosen Goods to the shopping cart, proceeds to checkout, enters their contact and delivery details, selects the delivery and payment method and then confirms the order by clicking the button that completes the purchase with an obligation to pay (the “Order”).
- Before submitting the Order, the Customer can review and change all entered data, including the Goods in the cart, and correct any input errors. The Order summary shows the Goods, the total price including VAT, the delivery charge and the chosen delivery and payment method.
- Submitting the Order is the Customer’s binding offer to conclude the Contract. The Contract is concluded when the Seller sends the Customer an email confirming acceptance of the Order. The Seller sends this confirmation without undue delay. The confirmation includes these T&C (or a durable link to them) and the model withdrawal form.
- The Customer confirms by submitting the Order that they have read and agree to these T&C, including the information on the right of withdrawal.
- The Seller is entitled to refuse an Order or to withdraw from the Contract before delivery if the Goods are no longer available, or if the price displayed was an obvious error (for example as a result of a technical fault). The Seller will inform the Customer without undue delay and refund any amounts already paid, by the same payment method, within 14 days.
- The concluded Contract (the Order and the order confirmation) is archived by the Seller in electronic form for the purpose of its performance and is not accessible to third parties. The Customer may request a copy at customerservice@lejaan.com.
- The Customer may create a customer account in the Online Store. The Customer must keep their login details confidential and keep their account data accurate. The Seller may cancel an account that has not been used for a long period or whose user breaches the Contract or these T&C.
IV. Payment
- The Customer may pay by payment card, by the digital wallets offered at checkout (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay), or with a gift card issued by the Seller. The payment methods available at any time are shown at checkout.
- The price and delivery charge are payable in advance when the Order is submitted. The Seller dispatches the Goods after the payment has been received.
- A gift card can be applied at checkout towards payment of the price. It cannot be exchanged for cash, and its validity is stated on the gift card. If the Contract is withdrawn from, the part of the price paid by gift card is refunded to the gift card.
- The Seller issues the Customer a tax document (invoice), which is delivered by email and/or made available in the customer account.
V. Delivery and transfer of ownership and risk
- The Goods are delivered by the carrier and delivery method chosen by the Customer at checkout, to the delivery address stated in the Order.
- The Seller delivers the Goods without undue delay, and no later than 30 days after the Contract is concluded, unless another period is stated for specific Goods. If the Seller fails to deliver within this period, or within an additional reasonable period agreed with the Customer, the Customer may withdraw from the Contract.
- The Customer should inspect the parcel on delivery and report any visible damage to the carrier and to the Seller without undue delay. This does not affect the Consumer’s statutory rights under Article VII.
- If the Customer fails to collect the Goods for reasons on their side, the Seller may withdraw from the Contract; the Seller then refunds the price paid less the costs actually incurred for the failed delivery and the return of the parcel.
- Ownership of the Goods passes to the Customer upon payment of the full price and taking delivery of the Goods. The risk of damage to the Goods passes to a Consumer when they (or a person designated by them, other than the carrier) take delivery of the Goods.
VI. Personal data
- The Seller processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Details are given in the Privacy Policy. Information on cookies is given in the Cookie Policy.
VII. Rights arising from defective performance (claims)
- The Seller is responsible to the Customer for the Goods being free from defects on delivery. In particular, the Seller is responsible for the Goods having the characteristics described in the Online Store, being fit for the purpose for which goods of that kind are usually used, being supplied in the agreed quantity and with the agreed accessories and instructions (including care instructions), and complying with legal requirements.
- A Consumer may exercise rights arising from a defect that appears in the Goods within 2 years of delivery. If a defect appears within 1 year of delivery, it is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless the nature of the Goods or the defect rules this out.
- If the Goods are defective, the Consumer may request that the defect be remedied by delivery of new Goods without the defect or by repair, unless the chosen remedy is impossible or disproportionately costly compared to the other. The Consumer may request a reasonable price reduction or withdraw from the Contract if the Seller has refused to remedy the defect or has not remedied it within a reasonable time, if the defect recurs, if the defect is a material breach of the Contract, or if it is clear from the Seller’s statement or the circumstances that the defect will not be remedied within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience to the Consumer. The Consumer may not withdraw from the Contract if the defect is insignificant.
- The Seller is not responsible for defects caused by the Customer, for wear and tear caused by normal use, for damage caused by washing, drying or other handling contrary to the care instructions supplied with the Goods, or, in the case of Goods sold at a lower price, for the defect for which the lower price was agreed.
- Claims are made without undue delay after the defect is discovered, by email to customerservice@lejaan.com, stating the order number, a description of the defect and, ideally, photographs, or in person at the operations address. The procedure is described on the Returns & Claims page. For a justified claim, the Seller bears the cost of returning the Goods.
- The Seller confirms receipt of the claim to the Consumer in writing (by email), stating the date of the claim, its content and the remedy requested. The Seller decides on the claim immediately, or in complex cases within 3 working days, and settles the claim, including remedying the defect, no later than 30 days after the claim was made, unless a longer period is agreed with the Consumer. The Seller then issues the Consumer confirmation of the date and method of settlement, or a written justification if the claim is rejected.
- The Seller does not provide any commercial quality guarantee beyond the statutory rights set out in this Article.
VIII. Right of withdrawal (Consumers only)
- A Consumer has the right to withdraw from the Contract without giving any reason within 30 days of taking delivery of the Goods or, if the Order was delivered in several parts, of the last part. This period is longer than the 14 days required by law; the Seller grants the extended period contractually.
- To withdraw, the Consumer must inform the Seller of their decision by a clear statement sent before the period expires, by email to customerservice@lejaan.com or by post to the operations address. The Consumer may use the model withdrawal form on the Returns & Claims page, but is not obliged to. The Seller confirms receipt of the withdrawal without undue delay.
- The Consumer must send the Goods back to the operations address (U Kolory 231, 463 12 Liberec, Czech Republic) within 30 days of withdrawing. The Consumer bears the direct cost of returning the Goods.
- The Seller refunds all payments received from the Consumer, including the delivery charge (up to the cost of the cheapest standard delivery offered by the Seller), no later than 14 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal. The refund is made by the same payment method the Consumer used, unless the Consumer expressly agrees otherwise, and at no cost to the Consumer. The Seller may withhold the refund until it has received the Goods back or the Consumer has supplied proof of having sent them, whichever is earlier.
- The Consumer is liable for any diminished value of the Goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning (for example washing, use, or removal of labels). The Seller may set off such a claim against the refund.
- The right of withdrawal does not apply to Goods made to the Consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, to sealed Goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery, or to Goods that after delivery have become inseparably mixed with other items.
- If a gift was supplied with the Goods, the gift contract is concluded subject to the condition that, if the Consumer withdraws from the Contract, the gift contract ceases to have effect and the Consumer must return the gift together with the Goods.
IX. Complaints and out-of-court dispute resolution
- Complaints are handled by the Seller at customerservice@lejaan.com. The Seller informs the Customer of the outcome by email.
- A Consumer may refer a dispute arising from the Contract that could not be resolved with the Seller to the body responsible for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes: Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Central Inspectorate – ADR Department, Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, adr@coi.cz, coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr. A Consumer living in another EU Member State, Norway or Iceland may also contact the European Consumer Centre in their country (ECC-Net). More information is on the Dispute Resolution page.
- This does not affect the Consumer’s right to bring proceedings before a competent court.
X. Final provisions
- The Contract and all relations arising from it are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection. Under Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I), this choice of law does not deprive a Consumer of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence.
- If any provision of these T&C is or becomes invalid or ineffective, the remaining provisions are not affected, and the invalid provision is replaced by a valid provision whose meaning comes as close as possible to that of the invalid one.
- The Seller may amend these T&C. The rights and obligations of the parties are always governed by the version in effect when the Order was submitted.
- The model withdrawal form published on the Returns & Claims page forms part of these T&C.
