About Lejaan
We are perfectionists who care about every detail. From rolls of fabric to individual seams and the finished piece, every centimetre passes through the hands of our seamstresses. We believe that people make the difference. That is why we make our bed linen in smaller workshops, building on textile traditions, maintaining personal relationships and overseeing every stage of production.
Each collection begins with a detailed creative process. Our creative director develops colours from ideas, stories and inspiration. We then develop the fabric construction and test it systematically, with support from partners including the Faculty of Textile Engineering at the Technical University of Liberec.
Our aim is to find gentler methods and practical solutions that benefit both you and the environment. We continue to expand our range of materials with a lower environmental impact, remove unnecessary elements such as zips and buttons, and work to reduce our footprint. It is an ongoing process to which we devote considerable care.
We prioritise high-quality natural fabrics from trusted sources. Our organic cotton meets organic production standards. TENCEL™ Lyocell uses wood from renewable sources and a production process designed to reduce water use. The goose down and feathers in our pillows and duvets come from certified farms with ethical sourcing practices.
One of the techniques we use to make bed linen is tearing the fabric along the grain. This keeps the warp and weft aligned and helps prevent twisting seams, which can occur when fabric is cut off-grain. Although tearing takes more care, we consider it an essential step towards a precise finish.

CHOOSING OUR SUPPLIERS
We choose suppliers who value transparency, share our principles, welcome innovation and build lasting relationships. This helps us improve both our production process and the quality of our products. We prioritise local suppliers and have specific reasons for sourcing certain products elsewhere.
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN
Our bed linen and Classic pillows and duvets are made in Czechia. Our goose down and feather pillows and duvets are also made here, using filling from certified European farms, most often in Poland. The Comfort range is made in Poland. We source terry products from Turkey for its expertise in cotton and textile production; selected newer collections, including Neris and Zuma, are made in Portugal. We source silk from China, where the climate and a long tradition of silk production support its quality.
