TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres are made in a similar way to viscose or modal. Wood chips are turned into cellulose, which is heated and filtered into lukewarm water. A special spinning process forms the resulting pulp into fine fibres, which are spun into yarn, wound onto spools and then woven into fabric.
