She writes poetry, makes jewelry, designs interiors. Her work can also be seen behind the Ambiente restaurants or the unconventional cookbooks of Dita P. We are talking about Yveta Anna Kroupová, illustrator of children's bedding Rebeca's Dream and Tobias' Dream.

It is our immense honor to introduce you to the author's collections inspired by Yveta Anna Kroupová's childhood memories. This versatile, talented illustrator has lent charm to these collections and designed bedding that your children will love to fall asleep in. The unique drawings that do not disturb sleep will brighten up any child's room.

How it all began

Both collections were created after the names of the children of the founders of Lejaan, Marcel's daughter Rebecca and Honza's son Tobiáš. The silky softness of the materials is ensured by the combination of cotton and TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers from eucalyptus wood, which are popular with us and you, and which absorb moisture, are naturally soft and smooth to the touch. Precise sewing will ensure that everything stays in place during pillow fights, and there are no biting zippers or hard buttons.

Tobias' Dream, Rebeca's Dream

Rebeca's Dream

The collection Rebeca's Dream in a soft pink shade is complemented by motifs of fauna and flora. "I based it on my childhood memories of summer. When, as children, my cousins and I would secretly sneak through a hole in the fence into the grounds of a closed, overgrown school. We would run after butterflies and catch grasshoppers in cucumber jars. Even the wild hare really ran there. I wanted to portray Rebeca's Dream as a romantic story about a little girl who lives in her carefree world," the author describes.

Tobias' Dream

The Dinosaur Collection Tobias' Dream was created thanks to the cult film Journey to Prehistory by Karel Zeman and the Book of Prehistory illustrated by Zdeněk Burian: "As a child, I was able to leaf through it for hours. I tried to incorporate details of the 1950s aesthetics into the pattern, such as the clothes of the boy on the raft. I deliberately didn't want the colors to be modern and bold, but rather muted and earthy."

Both children's collections have their equivalent in bed linen for adults. "We know that children like to come to their parents with a duvet, so we primarily matched them with the Never Too Late and Father's Playground collections," adds co-owner Marcel.
