WHAT DOES MÉLANGE MEAN
The term mélange began to be used in English in the 17th century. The word comes from the French mesler, which translates as to mix. You may recall Viennese melange coffee or a geological term for various types of rocks. However, melange yarn also refers to the term in the textile industry for yarn with a color effect, which is created by mixing fibers of different colors or origins. In our Melange collections, we created a fusion of colored and white fibers and combined lyocell and cotton.

The 40 × 40 cm pillows will match the plaids in their shades. You can combine them for a mix and match effect. We recommend our Classic High filling in the same size for the pillowcases.

The original Colour Melange design was created for cots and strollers as the Lejaan kids collection. In materials sensitive to children's skin and in ideal sizes. In the end, we decided to include knitted accessories in a separate section, but they complement the original collections of children's bedding Tobias' dream and Rebecca's Dream. With its colors, Colour Melange can brighten up an inconspicuous crib and children's kingdoms.

We design the composition and shades of our products ourselves, which is why all Lejaan products are not only practical, but also original accessories for your home. For knitted collections, our priority was softness and smoothness for the right amount of comfort. That is why we chose a yarn in a combination of 67% lyocell and 33% cotton. We designed the color shades to match our bedding collections. You can also use the plaids as a protective layer against direct sunlight.
